Our team stumbled upon a hidden treasure this morning while in search for some breakfast… good ole Christopher Garren, a modest, little bakery located in a new plaza in Costa Mesa. Michael and Geoff had the Breakfast Sandwich stuffed with eggs, cheese and Canadian bacon while I had a decadent Danish Chocolate Pastry. However, as we were eating, we couldn’t help but be distracted by the amazing cakes surrounding us, which is what this cakery is actually famous for. Words can’t describe how incredible these cakes looked–from a Wizard of Oz themed cake to cakes ordained with beautiful, edible floral arrangements. Not only do these works of art look marvelous, but the place is also top 3 in the nation for best-tasting cakes.
