A week after the Vegas Tradeshow, our team had to fly out to Asia to oversee production. Our first stop was in Shanghai, China for a meeting with a manufacturer which happened right as we got off our 20 hour flight including our layover in Hong Kong. As tired as we were, we had to get down to business. We were greeted with a full course lunch in a VIP room of the restaurant of a hotel. Apparently, these rooms exist in all the Chinese restaurants for meetings to occur away from the public. We were also joined by American designers, Tim and Peggy, who were coincidentally working out in Asia at the same time. First day was exhausting, but we made it through and got to visit some of factories where we could take a closer look into production.
