Food in Shanghai is absolutely amazing! We had to watch the tourist guide on our hotel television to see where she suggested we go, and she was definitely on point. She recommended we eat dim sum, a variety of Chinese bite-sized dishes served in steamers, at Din Tai Fung and Old Town. Of course it was as good as we expected. We tried some desserts from a local food mart as well for the experience, and it overly stuffed us, but we could have each had about 10 more of the custard or chocolate-filled fish waffle anyway.
